Default SPEEDOMETER

Hi,

I had recently the clutch replaced on my Golf CL 1.8.And after taking it from the service I noticed that my speedometer
and mileage counter does not work, all the rest is fine.Any ideas, pls note that my mechanical knowledge in this matter
is pretty basic>many tks in advance

take it back to the person who changed the clutch. you have to disconnect the speedo cable to do the work he may have fogot to put it back on or didnt do it properly

I would just try to hook up the cable myself first. It isn't that hard. If you can't do that then I would take it to the shop.

So.how.do.you.disconnect.the.speedometer?
