Default Spark plug replacement

I need to know when you are supposed to replace the spark plugs on a Golf 02 GLS 2.0 and I need to know please the gap for the spark plugs. I do not have a copy of the manual and I do not know the maintenence intervals.

Thanks!!

Spark plug gap is usaully around .030, change spark plugs every other oil change, or every 2 oil changes, along with your air filter, oil filter, and other fluids if you choose.

My friend used to replace his VW spark plugs in his golf every 30,000 miles to maximize power, performance, and fuel economy... He also said that new plugs minimize the risk of cat converter failure. A single misfiring plug can dump enough raw fuel into the exhaust to overheat and damage the converter... Goodluck in changing the plug!!!
