Questions on Performace chips
im thinking about putting a performance chip in my '08 2doorrabbit. Is it ok to put it in an automatic transmisson? if so, would it damage or would there be some affects if/when i take the chip out the car? becuz the installation says...
· Turn the ignition key to the ignition ON position but do not start the car.
· Leave the key in this position for three minutes.
· This will allow the ECU to relearn the relative throttle positions and
prevent possible error codes.
im worried cuz if i take it out, there might be errors. The law states that my warrenty can not be voided with after market parts, unless they can prove that it was the reason for my car's damage.
