Who makes a good racing chp for the 2002 24V VR6? My price range is about $250-$300.

Your price range is way off! My GIAC chip was $532.00, off Performance-cafe.com. APR is ok, but you're just buying the name. Eurotuner has some good things init, look in there.

I know man i just found one GIAC chip for 300 but it only gains 8-12hp. Im willing to pay 500 man but not for some ***** *** chip that gains less than Neuspeed intake im lookin at. Most chips ive seen gain 20-35 hp. Its just i cant find any really good GTI VR6 ones. But ill look at Eurotuner. Much obliged guys. Oh btw bagel if i had a Jetta mine would like yours. Nice job man.

I have a GIAC EPROM chip on my 96 GTI that I got from Techtonics Tuning for $100. Gained about 10hp w/o loss in gas mileage or any computer problems. Check them out at techtonicstuning.com and see if they have anything for your car. They sell a lot of stuff, including the exhaust that I got for my car that sounds deep, but looks completely stock. Good luck w/ the GTI.

If I'm gonna pay for HP, I want a lot of it, the chip I have is one of the best. A good site to go to is www.fastaddiction.com and www.eruosportacc.com If you think about it, 8-10 HP isn't alot, but when a chip for $500 adds over 30HP, AND improves throttle response, gas milaege, and some others, it's worth it.

This is a big thing to reserach, Eurotuner mags usaully have good info. There's a website that deals only in chips, I can't remember what it is, I'll get it tho.
