please, anyone know where my fuel filter in located? i looked all over can't find it. it not where my bmw one was. the car is not starting and my other cars heat is out.....i just bought a new filter but i can't find it on the car.

If it's not an in-line filter, than it's prolly in the gas tank.

 

If the filter is outside of the tank then it would be on the passenger side near the rear tire and if its in the tank your access hole is either under ur back see or under the lining in your trunk... If it is in the gas tank u need a speical tool to turn the seal off and be careful with the fuel pump and make sure you seal everything back correctly so u don't have n e leaks because that will throw the check engine light on...

 

if you still can't find your VW fuel filter, maybe a repair manual would help..
