Ive got a 97 golf GL with some mods, and recently a very loud whine has been coming from the engine. It seems to be coming fromt he top end somewhere, the cam has been changed in the car and im wondering if that has somethingto do with it. I plan on taking the top end apart tommorow and poking around. I took it to my mechanic and thinks its somewhere around the timing set. Im just checkin if anyone has had a similar problem.
