I dont know much about VW's.... I drive a Subaru, but my buddy has a golf and is asking me for help... His "brake" light on his cluster blinks and beeps at him under acceleration and going up hills. I've tried to push the e-brake handle down harder thinking that it wasnt quite hitting the switch but it didnt work. He tried disconnecting the switch all together but that didn't work either. I've searched this and didn't find anything, so I'm sorry if this has already been answered. I believe that the car is a 2003 and its a 2 liter with a 5 speed if that helps...
