Hey i am lookin into buying a 2000+ golf, what i wanted to know was how expensive is the maintenance.. meaning parts or to get stuff fixed up. I heard volkswagen repairs can be costly. Please let me know thanks !

 

As expensive as an oil change, VW's dont break :-)

Well, I have had a TDI for up 2 years and it came to me after the Timing Belt was changed, so the only thing I have done is two oil changes. I think if you go through VW dealership it is around $50-60. But that is my only encounterance with maintenance.
