i found a vw golf and it has 150,000 miles on it. do vw last long like other foregin cars or do they tend to die relativily soon?

 

I've been a VW fan for a long time. Been friends w/ VW owners, my ex-wife owned 2 VW's. Just bought my first VW this weekend (86 GTI) These cars are awesome. Well built, easy to work on, reliable. Simplest door panel ever to remove (had to fix the window yesterday) Just very up-front with things. I would say that if the price is right, 150K is not bad mileage.
