Help 2000 Golf

Help 2000 Golf
Going to look at a Golf in the morning do not know much about it nor do I know much about Golf's. Is there anything I need to look for when I look at it. Any help would be great. The only thing I do know is it is a 2000 gas motor with 109,000 miles.
