Can anyone help me? I need to find the instrument cluster fuse, my lights are out! Thanks.

 

what year is ur car? should be on the driver side when you open then door on the side of the dash there is a panel u can pull off and access the fuel panel.. if u have a newer model...

 

It's an 85 Golf . I found the fuses, checked them, they were all good. I pulled the instrument cluster (CAN be done without pulling steering wheel) and pulled the lights, they were all bad. Ordered some from my local VW dealership (12 bucks for 3 of them!) popped those in, and I could suddenly see how badly I am speeding at night :-P Thanks for the info, btw!
