Default '98 Golf GTI Starting issues

I read over other posts and never saw the same exact problem. My MKIII Golf GTI is slow to start when it hasnt been driven within just a few hours. The engine fires but doesn't turn sometimes for a bit. Most times in the morning, warm, cold, moist, dry, ill have to sit starting it for about 10 seconds, stop, start it again and itll go after about 3 seconds. If i drive it and then get back in a few minutes later, it starts right up. Starter and coil and been replaced already. Battery tests fine.

I dunno whats goin on.

I don't know what's going on either. I'm going to have to think about this and get back to you.

Well, it didn't take me long to think. I think maybe it has to do with fuel pressure. Has the fuel filter been changed lately? Does it run good once it's started or does it idle a little rough?

Once it gets going its perfectly fine but everyonce in a while it feels like its stuttering when im idling at stop lights and such. Ill check the filter and hopefully thatll be it. Ill check all the plugs and wires too while Im at it. If not, then I shall return...

Thanks
