Hey... im new to the vw world and just curious if anyone knows whether i can take an 02 sensor from a 94 2.0 exhaust system and use it to replace a bad 02 sensor in my 97 2.0 system. plan on cutting the wires and connecting em that way. Let me know guys thanks.

 

O2 sensors differ in configuration for every year model since the emission norms vary. I think it would not be a good idea to fix that old sensor in the new system when you can get an aftermarket one for exact 97 exhaust system.
