need help finding the brake light sensor on my 2000 Jetta
the sensor under the brake that tells your brake lights to turn on. It's a little black thingy that comes out when ur brakes are pressed.

Why you ask? If your lights aren't coming on, the switch is recall anyways so I dunno what you would be searching for??

no, I'm telling you the switch is a recall. You will know if it's a problem because your EPC light comes on and you have no brake lights when you hit the brakes. Sorry if I came off rude but I was simply stating....

recalls are always free bro!! if both brake lights stopped working, def switch....have you tried looking at the fuses to make sure they won't blown?

they made a new style switch a few months ago looks diffrent than any of the old ones looks like it will work better and easy to install without needing too preload it like the old ones
i hatted puting those in you could go through a handfull of switches before you got one to work
