Default 2004 Golf Auto Trans leaking

I have a 2004 VW Golf 2.0 automatic that I use as my commuter car. I had a rebuilt engine put in it about 2 years ago and I have drove it without any issues, until now. The transmission started leaking very bad to the point it was pouring out. I finally put the car up and put a quart in to see where it is coming from. I cannot tell for sure where it is leaking but it is dripping from the bottom where the trans meets the engine after it is warmed up. Maybe a gasket? I guess I'm looking for guidance and/or ideas. I'm not sure if I really want to fix it yet. The trans seems fine except for the fluid. I cycled through the gears before all the fluid drained and it worked. The car idles well up on the jack stands without any trouble lights on. If I do decide to tear into this, I'm hoping to just pull the trans and replace any gaskets/seals needed. Thoughts???

Thanks

Its hard to say where that oil leak is from you need to clean everything off.
