Does anyone know of any problems with the cloth seats on the 03 golf. I seem to have worn out the left side of the lumbar and made a hole, but the hole is in a particular area that rubs on the drivers seatairbag. (plastic on inside always rubbin) the rest of the seat is fine, im arguing with vw, cause i dont think its my fault, worn out yes, but a hole no..they want me to get a new seat before my lease is up..arggg!!!! I have seen this problem before where the airbag surround wears through the foam and seat cloth, i believe this should be covered under warranty as a default.

 

Thanks, do you know of anyone setting precedence with this problem? by getting them to admit it was there fault?
