is a 1.8 turbo compatible with a 2.0 engine
Hi i was wondering if anyone can help me i have a 2001 2.0 golf and i was trying to get a turbocharger in there and i was trying to find out if a 1.8 turbo would be compatible.....?

i dont know for sure, but i would think its not. im thinking you'd have to buy a turbo kit for a 2.0 unless you plan on doing it complete custom then im sure you could make it function with enough work

i called the dealership and i told them that i have a 2.0 engine and the guy said that a 1.8 turbo would work but u know im just making sure b4 buying anything so i dont lose out on a bunch of money
