Ok so I'm new to the Cabrio world so I have a question. The ole lady just got a 2002 gls. The top is separating at the seams so it needs replaced. Only thing is the top is friggin expensive. I know the difference in 2002 and the older ones is the rear glass is different,but if I'm not worried about the rear defroster will an older top mount in the same way to the 2002 frame? It is a manual top on mine. Thanks for any help.

No I have not found out yet but found a top for it with no window which for me is not an issue since top will be down when dtiven just up when parked.It was only 200 bucks.
