Default 99 Cabrio problem

Does anyone have any ideas on this problem? 99 Cabrio which from time to time in damp weather run like crap. In the past have changed the cap and rotor and this gets the car back in working order and running good. The other day car was running fine in the rain and I hit a puddle that was not to deep, etc and the car started to bog then stalled shortly after. I was able after cranking it to get it started but ran rough and would stall. At one point got it started again and was trying to let it idle but trying to throttle it to get the motor to rev and it stalled again. Long story short, I replaced the cap and rotor with new ones again and it will not start anymore. It cranks but doesn't sound like it likes to fire. When I turn the key off I once in a while get a small attempt to fire the cylinders but far from starting. I have checked the spark from the coil and it seems to be giving sufficient spark.

Does anyone have any ideas on what this could be? Is there a fuse or sensor that could be the culprit?

Thanks in advance.
