Default Should I buy 1999 Cabrio

I am thinking of buying a 1999 cabrio, I haven't drove it but my boyfriend took it for a test drive and says the clutch feels different. Are the clutches know for being high he said thats how it felt???

I have one of them since new and unless the price is really right it is not that special of a car. Clutch is going to depend on how the person drive it before you, I personally have 111k on mine original clutch and if the car lasted I would bet I will get at least 150k out of it but I don't ride the clutch at all. The tranny blew up at 51k though...I down shifted to 1st from a very slow roll and when I let out the clutch the tranny was making a racket badly and the warranty replaced the tranny brand new.
