Default 2001 cabrio BAD JUMPSTART WONT START NOW

Hi, my daughterhas a 2001 Cabrio she let herco-worker jump start her co-workers car. She had the car running for a while and then she drove to a friends house, turned off the car for about 2 minutes, came back to her car and now it does't want to start? I've checked the fuses under the dashboard, I've had the battery tested and it works, her lights, radio and windows all work. It just wont start no noise when you turn the key. I've also had the alternator tested and nothing. now I'm in the midst of taking apart the starter to take that in. Can anyone please help?

I would greatly appreciate any suggestions.

This wont help, but you should never jump start any vehicle, yours
or theirs if it's new enough to have a computer control system, which your does. You can blow, the alternator, computer, wireing
system, and if the person using the cables happens to cause a spark
when hooking to the battery, you can blow just about anything
electrical. The correct way to start one that is dead, is disconnect
the battery cables, then charge the battery, then reinstall the cables
and start the engine, with out jump cables or charger hooked up.
The best way to check the start system is with a cheep 12 volt
test light. Ground the lead, touch the point to the + post on the
battery and see if it lights up, then with the lead still grounded touch
the post on the starter where the battery cable hooks in and see if
it lights, if so then look at the starter solenoid, there should be a
small wire that activates the starter, touch that termanal and have
some one turn the ignition key and see if it lights up, if so then you
may have a bad starter or could be the ground cable not making
good contact at the engine block. If the light doesn't light up at that
point then you have a wireing or switch problem, unless the system
happens to have one of those large fuses under the hood for the
start system. GOOD LUCK
