My daughter has a 2005 Beetle and has had four separate window problems. The first three problems were handled under warranty by the dealer. Of course, now the vehile is out of warranty and the dealer wants est. $500.00 to open the door and possible replace the regulator.

The window dropped to the bottom of the door the other day and will not come up.

I don't have a Beetle shop manual. Can someone get me started on removing the door panels. I only know the '86 Vanagon and GM vehicles. I see the two screws in the bottom of the door panel. Not sure if other door clips exist, and don't want to pry and break something.
