Default What to use

Hello,
I have a 2006 volkswagen beetle(convertible) I would like to know what I need to use(if anything) on the convertible top. Also what is best to clean the interior with, the dash especially. Someone told me not to use armour all because it would not be a good thing to use. Any advice as to what to use would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Janice

Hi - I asked the same question - cleaner for my canvas top - but didn't get any reply... Did you get anyone to reply to you?

THanks

Hello,
Unbelievably, I did not receive an answer. Oh, well, guess all 12 mechanics were on a break and still are after 2 full weeks almost.

Default Canvas cleaner

Hello All,

I have a light brown canvas top and I could not find any info either. The manual wasn't helpful. I finally used oxy clean and water. I put the mixture in a spary bottle and spot treated the dirt and stains. It worked great. I was a little worried before it dried but it dried clean and with no damage. That worked for me, I recommend you try it on a little out of the way spot before you go all out.

Hope this helps.

When I had a Beetle, I always just used soapy water and it worked fine; just dont' scrub too hard.
