Exclamation VW Beetle Misfiring constantly, Help!

I have a 1999 VW Beetle and it is misfiring at start up, however it only happens sporadically. The car idles around 500-800 rpm and the engine shakes profusely. The check engine light also comes on an blinks. When I turn the car off and start it a few hours later it starts fine. Help!
I've had the sparks & wires, 02 sensor, coilpacks, and fuel filter replaced and it still keeps happening! Does anyone know what this could be?

Its no use guessing on the web and you've done the obvious checks. If the engine check (MIL) light has been on you need to find someone with VAG-COM\VCDS to do an Autoscan and post the error codes in here.

You don't say where you live as your Location is blank. VAG-Com Locator Map. Alot of VW forums have a thread showing these.
