Went to open my trunk this morning on my 08 Beetle conv and the only thing that happened was the lights flashed. I tried the switch on the door and attempted to get to the emergency handle but couldn't. Is there any other way to open the trunk other than, by key fob, door latch or emergency handle?

Did you try to local VW dealer? Should be an easy fix and they'll be able to help I'm sure. Good luck!
