I own a 2003 beetle and am having a problem with cd player. It plays fine, but I am unable to insertor remove any cds. Does anyone have advice about what would be the best route to go or cost. The dealership, of course will charge $60 or more just to tell me what is wrong.I would really rather have the stereo made to go in it, but maybeI should pursue goingto a stereo store? I just bought a 2007 beetle and the cd player has a really strange habit where the volume keeps fading up and down, I've noticed that next to the word balance it does say fade but I have no idea if you can overide that feature or if in fact it's a fault. The only thing I do know is it's enough to drive you nuts.
