Hey hey all...I just bought a 73 Super Beetle. Runs great...well kind of.....For some reason when my car sits for awhile it will not start. Today was the first day this happened and it only started happening after I filled it with gas. Now I am new to owning a VW but my dad had them when I was growing up. I know that the gas smell is usual...but now it is WAY bad like it is flooded. I tried popin the clutch..that wont work. There is power but it will not turn over. Any ideas for a new VW owner?
