74 Bug Jerking
Hoping someone out there can help. I've a 74 bug that has begun to hesitate and jerk while driving. I will be just cruising down the road and suddenly it will jerk go jerk go. I try down shifting, up shifting, letting up on the gas, speeding up. Nothing works. Then (sometimes right away, sometimes after a mile or so) it will stop and drive normal. Scares me no end. Never know when it's gonna do this. Has only done it once coming out of a stop light. Most of the time it does it while driving. HELP Appreciate any suggestions.

Welcome to the forum. 
Without seeing the vehicle it could be anything. You need to check the ignition, fuel and connections.
