Hi all, just found this forum- stumbling in from Google.

I've got a bit of a problem with my VDub, she's a 2001 manual Beetle with over 160k miles, and just recently the ABS light popped on.
I pulled into a driveway and started to rev the engine to see if I could hear anything different and everything sounds fine. (Yes, I do realize if it's the brakes I wouldn't hear anything) But, curiouser and curiouser, when I rolled up my windows to shut it off they were extremely sluggish and the lock wouldn't go down when I locked it with the key fob. I unlocked it and repeated it again and it finally went down.
What do you think? Easily solvable, done by hand or am I looking at something worse?
