2000 Turbo Instrument Panel rapair?
My sister has a 2000 Trubo, Vapor Blue, Automatic New Beetle, and there are some strange things going on. The main two symptoms she has mentioned are: 1. every time she hits the breaks, the oil light comes on, and 2. her temp light will shut off and come back on periodically (I think this is random). Contrary to the lights, her car is fine. She has taken it to two mechanics and they have both said that the control panel was screwy, but I though I would get another opinion online.
My questions for you guys are:
1. has anyone experienced this before?
2. does anyone know if this can be solved with a new instrument panel?
3. where can I find out how to remove her current instrument panel and then install a new one?
4. is there anything I should know before I install a new instrument panel?
Btw, I'm new. Hello to everyone!
