1966 Beetle wheel hubs
Gday,
I've just joined up here and know next to nothing about Volkswagens. I'm a Ford man, myself, but a friend of mine has a '66 Volkswagen Beetle and so I'm slowly trying to learn a few things about them.
Anyway, I live in Australia and I've spotted a few '60s era Beetles getting around with mag wheels on them instead of the stock wheels with the big VW hubcaps. All the Beetles I've seen with different wheels are running a four bolt stud pattern instead of the large five (is it five or six?) bolts and are closer together.
I'm just curious as to whether there is a seperate Volkswagen hub that can be purchased or if the hubs can be adapted from a different model car such as a Ford Lazer or some other small car with a similar sized hub.
Thanks,
Woz
