03 Beetle ABS light won't go off, help!
Hello. I'm new to your forum but need some emergency help. Here it is:
03 Beetle, 1.8L turbo, Calif. Edition, 102k miles. Daughter's car, who beautifully blew the right front tire off the car. In the process i've assessed damage to the bottom side rail, the strut lower tube and destroyed the ABS sensor cable. Rather than the $118 for the replacement cable I just did a sanitary crimp and shrink tubing repair. Pretty simple two wire deal. Now however , the ABS warning in the dash still remains on. Only difference is the triangular warning light is off now. Is there a reset procedure or fuse or am I going to my dealer for a visit?
Any help is greatly appreciated. Trying to get this done today.
Cheers,
Dana
