hi all, I have a nice old dasher with a blown motor. I'm not interested in rebuilding it, I want something with some punch. no vr6. looking for something in my area( mid michigan) hoping to find an inexpensive 99-2005 2.0 - 2.4 N/a engine and tranny that might bolt in easily. any one done this? a passat motor is what I'm hoping to find but something from a gti would be good. not trying to build a rocket, but Not as slow as a stock dasher either. any advice is appereciated.
