The Eos and Navigation
Hello. Why is there no Eos section of this forum? Does nobody own one? Well, neither do I, but I'm thinking of getting one as I want a convertible but I need a year round car and one that will be nice and quiet, and warm, in the winters.
My question may not even pertain to only the Eos since I'm wondering about the navigation option (perhaps it's available on other VW models?). Specifically, I'm wondering if anyone has it and thinks it's worth the extra 2 grand. Why wouldn't I just go buy a Garmin for $200 US? The in-dash navigation with the touch screen in the 2009 Eos looks really nice, but I can't really justify spending 10 times the price of a nav unit for this feature. Does it do something else I'm not aware of? Serve me coffee on my morning drive perhaps?
Any info on the navigation option would be great. Thanks!
