Hi

I own a 2005 VW Caddy Panel Van 1.6. The vehicle has a stock radio with no cd playing ability. I would like to be able to simply plug in my cellphone via a 3.5mm input jack and play music via the car speaks. Would it be possible for my to rig this up at all? If so, anyone have any idea where to start, reading/planning-wise?

I wouldn't think so on that older radio the newer VW's have only enabled this feature over the last few years with the MDI and iPod connections.

Thanks for the reply. I was thinking of doing something involving patching the audio output cables from the radio unit into a splitter-type thing. I still need to speak to someone who knows more about electronics as to the feasibility of this though :-)

Well thats an RCD300 radio which is quite new mine is an RCD310 which has the MDI connection.

If your is an RCD300 then buy the connector and try it.
