Hello All,

I just picked up a 71 Super Beetle today. I've wanted one of these for a few decades and finally pulled the trigger.

It's a nice looking little car that could use a little work. Drives pretty good too.

Glad to find this site and hope to learn and contribute when able.

Thanks,

So far it rides great!. Had it at 65 and 70 on the way home and it was very smooth on the road.
The body is in good to very good condition (based on my limited expertise). The engine runs a little rich at the moment. I think I need to run it for awhile to get it back to "norm" and then maybe make an adjustment afterwards. The interior is in very good condition. The only problem is that there are a couple of small cracks in the vinyl but they are very small.
In general it is a very nice car and needs a little work.
Thanks
