Hi, i recently bought myself a VW Classic Beetle. I have no idea what year it is and the model it is. All i know that it is a VW 1600L Beetle. I have a problem. Last night i removed the previous owners audio system and put in my new audio system. My new baby started before the switching of systems. Now tmy baby has power, the audio system plays, lights works everything works, except my baby doesnt wanna start. She doesnt even turn on the engine or make any noise or something. When i turn the key the two red lights go on, but pressing the ignition button nothing happens. I think when switching the systems i accidently disconnected the wires. All the wires are all over the place and i dont know where to start. I would really apreciate it if you could help me. I would like to get a wire diagram for the ignition, if that is possible cause that might just give me an idea of whats going on. I also know it has 12 fuses, so its probably from 1970 model & later. Please help me as soon as possible.
