Welcome to the forum.

I hope you enjoy your stay with us.

Stalling won't damage the car only annoy other drivers.

Can you tell us more details about your motor? https://volkswagenforum.com/forum/ne...gnature-34185/

Thank you,
Another quick question, I was about to reverse but wasn't paying attention and I shifted the car into reverse without pressing the clutch and my car stalled.
I only did this one time, this being my first. Will this damage my car even only just this one time?
Thank you

Reverse gear has no syncro mesh so it will grind more.

Excessive crunching of the forward gears will wear the syncro mesh cones.

If your not used to a manual gearbox thats something you will have to get used to quickly.
