Default Good evening.

And yes it’s night where I’m at. Just bought my first VW in MANY years. Heard all the horror stories and the good things as well. I mainly bought it has a way to get back and forth to work seeing my Subaru died last week. Tried finding another one but my budget and the fact that in our area Subaru’s hold their value extremely good. Even if it’s a rust bucket.
found a “2002” will post pictures tomorrow. 5 speed 2.0 Golf for $1,500. Sunroof, heat, air etc. Radio sucks inside is decent though needs some TLC. was surprised by how well it kept up with traffic being 115 HP. Got 180K on it. Again on a budget.
The previous owner stuck new tires on it which have good tread but are 17s instead of 15s. He says the struts need to be replaced because it rubs, my guess is that the tires are just too big overall. 🤔.
Look forward to picking everyone’s brains. Have a good night!
