I just joined the site so I could get some feedback on my newest VW. I have owned a '95 Golf, then an '89 VW Jetta Wolfsburg and now I have '96 Jetta. The past VW's were standard and the newest one is automatic. What a difference! I do not enjoy the automatic at all. It is very zippy but revs really high and takes a long time to shift between gears. It hates hills and my Wolfsburg's engine sounds better! I don't want to sell my Wolfsburg but its beat up and rusty but the motor still has a lot of life in it. The Germans did a fantastic job with the interior, etc. For a car that old it has the coolest features that other auto makers didn't offer back in 1989. Anyways I look forward to learning more about my car and if anyone knows a good used auto parts place in around Vancouver, BC let me know!!
