Default to drive, is to live

I am now the very proud owner of an avocado green, 78 Westphalia Kombi? First time VW owner, and I figured if I was gonna do it, I was gonna do it right.

Any suggestions on books, other than Idiots, or is that the number one staple? I wanna baby, my baby, so she will baby me.

::EDIT for spelling:: umm, so thats what happens when you try to make a post that late at night.

Took her out on the road for my first full day (may I also add that I am learning to drive a stickshift at the same time) The Westy needed a new starter, but that was done yesterday and now its definitely much easier to navigate her.

How much of an attention ***** does it make me, that I loved getting the honks and waves just from driving around town? Im jes askin.

PICS by this weekend.

Id say give me by this weekend. Its still vintage feel, original paint, in really good condition in my opinion. And thanks for the welcome.
