I have a good 1969 VW bug complete shell and I have been thinkin for some time now makin it 4 wheel drive. Have any of you done this swap or seen one? Maybe know of a web site or something. My thoughts were of using maybe something like a old Jeep or Isuzi 4 wheel frame and runnin gear. Putting the VW shell on top of it. There must be someone that has built a 4 wheel drive early model VW bug. I will be grateful for any ideas,or information you might offer. Thanks !

I know you posted this ALONG TIME AGO but I have seen it done helped the guy work on it alittle. He used a jeep frame and put the shell on it. I think hes selling it........
