Buggin' Again!

Buggin' Again!
Howdy all. Just got back into bugs at the end of this summer. Bought a '66 with a 1641 out of a Thing. The longer I had it, the more adverse I became to cutting or modifying it. It was 100% complete, and I didn't want to be the guy to desicrate it!
So, I've traded for a '71 beelte. This one appears to be a little more modern in terms of suspension and ergonomics. My first thought is to make it look like an earlier model (hood and deck lid if possible) and lower the front a bit. I'm a '69 Chevelle SS guy at heart; maybe I'll try to emulate some of that feel into this car.
In any case, it's gonna be a fun project and I'm glad I found a site where I can get some help along the way. [8D]
