Default Problem Starting

Wondering if someone can help me out.I have a 2001 jetta 1.8t. I just had a big service done about 2 months ago, with timing belt, water pump, cam and crank seals, etc. Now I have a new problem.

2 nights ago I came to a stop. When I started to take off again, the car lurched forward and stalled out. It would crank just fine and the car didnt seem to be lacking any power it just would not turn over. I let it sit for 15 minutes and it started right up without a problem. I drove it around normally until tonight when it did it again while I was driving at about 15 mph. This time it did not start back up and I had to have it towed home. Here are the specs of the car:

2001 Jetta
1.8t
95k miles.
5 speed
recent oil change
all normal maintenance
no leaks that I can see
battery still has full charge
no engine codes
everything works except the damn car!

Any information you can provide would be great. Thanks in advance!

Kyle
