Question need some serious advice

i have to admit that im new to the whole working on imports thing. ive built my fair share of old school hot rods but i dont know a lot about the tuners. i have a 2003 golf gti and i was wanting to put a bigger turbo on it, the problem is that im not sure if i need to worry about other things that may need to be changed with it. im not trying to go too extreme with it, i just want to get a t3/t4 turbo and get it set to about 8 psi to give the car a little more umphh. can anyone help me with this to give me some ideas of where to start with this or can i just buy one and bolt it on without any worries?

Ask a mechanic at the dealership or any German shop.

Just saw there is a Turbo forum on this site.
