Default fly wheel

do i need a whole new torque converter to fix my fly wheel?
it's a late model 96
answers are appreciared

i've been told that the 2 are welded together
so this is not the case?

Yes I guess they are. Sorry I'm no A/T expert. You'll want to replace the shaft oil seal while your up.
