I had planned out to put a 91 1.8L 8V gti head onto a 94 2.0L 8V block and was wondering if it should all go well. The prestone circulation holes seem to match almost everywhere if not very close. The housing is supposed to be the same. To get the blocks real power would I need to port the valve holes and put 2.0L valves. And do I need to put more solid valve springs because I am afaraid to blow the head when I start her up. Thanks!!
