I have a 1.6MT Golf which doesn't has a LCD screen(trip computer)on dashboard .I got a 2nd hand passat V6 dashboard with full screen and put it in .

when I got code matching finished , each function of the trip computer is working. but found aproblem , ABSindicator is lighting ,speed meter is not accurated . when i try to change the instrument (17) soft code via VAG-com, the5th figuer which determine thespeed pulse . it's fixed , can't change it. should be related tothe ABSproblem ?

so i movedtheEPROM (89C63) from Golf dashboard topassat one ,ABS problem is gone ,speedmeter is fine , but trip computer doesn't work properly, only trip time is dispalyed . iguess the screen graphic setting CODE is stored in that EPROM , how can find out the CODE address in the EPROM? so i canwrite the passat code into that address .

or , any other solution for above problem ?

the speed pulse is from ABS , when use golf eprom , it's be able to changethe 5thfigure . but use passat eprom is fixed .
