i was putting on some rims today and as i was tightening one of the lug nuts on the back wheel the head of the lug nut snapped off, and part of the lug nut is inside the hub. what should i do?

 

If you can, get a pair of vice grips and clamp it on and remove it by hand, do it slowly and make sure the vice grips are tight on the shaft, then just go buy a new one to replace. Try not to break it more or you'll have to drill it out.
