i have just replaced the tranny in my car (5speed if it helps) and i have everything good to go but when i try to start the car the starter clicks(and yes the battery is charged) and then the alarm will go off. any help with this would be much appriecitated

 

forgot. the engine is 1.8L non turbo

 

could i need the anti theft code. even though i have an aftermarket stereo ?
